5_Ten minutes for READING AND LISTENING

In the last activity of this week, we are going to change our aims, and we are heading to a reading activity.

Ir order to not get you bored, you are not only going to have to read, so get your ears ready, because you´ll have to listen to something. And may be you feel so happy that you want even to sing.

  2. Hi Diego!! This activity is very funny for students!! It is a good way for them in order to practice their listening and reading skills!! Also they learn new vocabulary. From my point of view, this kind of activities are very motivating for pupils since they can develop their English skills in a funny way.

Hi Diego, that kind of activities with song help our pupils to be more motivate as well as in that activity you have listening and reading, where they can read and listen at the same time, therefore they will have a good skills in both abilities.In addition you have make question about song, therefore they have to pay atention about it. Really good activity for our studens.

    From my point of view this type of activities is perfect to promote the development and interest in learning ESL. The reiteration in the structure of the song that you have chosen as well as the transversal content in values that it integrates, I consider that it is a very appropriate activity for its realization with students of the first or second year of Primary Education.
    The development of language skills (listening and speaking) increase with this type of activities. In addition to addressing the content of values, allows to enhance intergroup relations between students and pay attention to learning and acquisition of ESL.
